Nigeria Construction Career Support Programme

Helping New Starters Build Strong Careers in Construction

If you are looking for a job in construction or have started working in the industry within the last **4 weeks**, you may qualify for free training, support, and career development guidance through the **BCTI Nigeria Construction Career Support Programme.**

This initiative, developed by the Building and Construction Training Institute (BCTI) in partnership with workforce development organisations, provides tailored assistance for individuals beginning their construction careers anywhere in Nigeria.

Our mission is to support new workers as they enter the industry, helping them remain confident, capable, and motivated — while giving employers the benefit of a more skilled and stable workforce.

Learners do not need to have completed prior training with BCTI.

Employers are also welcome to refer newly hired workers who require additional support, provided they meet programme eligibility.

This investment directly contributes to:

  • Reducing Nigeria’s construction skills gap
  • Improving employment retention
  • Supporting new workers at the critical early stage of their careers
  • Strengthening industry-wide workforce quality
